Nova Scotia 's recent wine history dates back to the mid-1970's, and its future looks bright with the province boasting over ten wineries and hundreds of acres of vineyards. The wineries of Nova Scotia have won numerous international medals and listed below are just three of the many diverse and exciting wineries that call Nova Scotia home.

Jost Vineyards

Located in Malagash on the Sunrise Trail, Jost Vineyards overlooks the beautiful Northumberland Strait. Winner of Canada's Wine of the Year in the 2000 All-Canadian Wine Championships, Jost strives to create intriguing and satisfying Nova Scotia wines. The winery is open all year with a spacious boutique and seasonal daily tours.

Gaspereau Vineyards

Nestled in the beautiful Gaspereau Valley is the new and exciting Gaspereau Vineyards. Located on 35 acres of vineyards just 3 km from downtown Wolfvil1e, Gaspereau Vineyards is creating premium estate-grown wines. The winery is open mid-May ti11 mid-October, offering in-store sampling and informative guided tours daily.

Luckett Vineyards

Crisp maritime breezes, legendary ocean tides and brilliant sunshine meet to create an outstanding terroir on a hillside overlooking the magnificent Gaspereau Valley. Here, Luckett Vineyards captures the magic of Nova Scotia’s distinctive character through wines that truly are worth phoning home about. We're open from May to October, and it's never too early to start planning your visit. Stop in and try our exciting new Buried Red, Phone Box White, Rosetta Rose, along with award-winning favourites including L'Acadie, Tidal Bay, as well as delightful wines made from locally grown fruit.
